Hogeschool Howest in Brugge heeft als motto: we develop people. Ons ontwerp voor de uitbreiding van deze onderwijsinstelling sluit daar naadloos op aan. We maken een campus waar studenten en docenten elkaar gemakkelijk kunnen ontmoeten op een route de de binnen- en buitenruimtes aan elkaar rijgt. We maken van Howest een plek die educatie, het bedrijfsleven en de stad samenbrengt.<\/h4>\n","text_right":"

Solutions for the future<\/h3>\n","text_right":"

We used as many sustainable solutions as possible. We left the recognizable buildings intact and used existing qualities. We kept the use of new materials to a minimum. We also thought about sustainability and innovation as we designed the new building. At a time in which we have to make responsible choices, we opted for a fa\u00e7ade made of recycled \u2018Pretty Plastic\u2019. This product contributes to a circular economy in which waste does not exist and raw materials are always reused. And it looks nice, too!<\/p>\n
